Cognac Duret Question

Postby kimbley » Fri Nov 21, 2014 9:32 pm

Hi everyone
Picked up this sealed bottle and can't find any info on it. I found Jules Duret but I assume not the same thing. Any help is much appreciated.

A "Duret" Cognac bottled by "Andre Royer" in Jarnac... "Jules Duret" is a well known cognac as is "Louis Royer" but it looks like your cognac is an obscure product playing on the similar names of two well known brands for notoriety. The capsule and bottle markings puts bottling in the 1955-1964 era. Probably a good cognac but not much appeal to collectors of well-known brands. This would be a good "drinking cognac".
