Cognac XO

Postby Altair80 » Wed Feb 13, 2013 9:07 pm

I would try a Cognac XO. In my wine shop I saw:

Francois Peyrot XO (The description tells 25years)
Jenssen XO 12y

Remy Martin and Hennessy XO are too expensive.

Do you know this Cognac?

No, but I agree that Remy Martin and Hennessy are too expensive!!

Of course price matters, but just based upon my own personal tastes, I would go for the older bottling. 10 years is long enough to legally call it XO, but you would be hard pressed to find many XO's (Cognac rather than brandy) with this much youth.

Let us know what you decide.
