I thought it would be nice to have a place just to mention what you are sipping on at the moment, but don't want to go through with a full review or just want to share with everyone else.
I'm doing the AE Dor Opera Extra. I'm about 3/4 of the way through this bottle and am still impressed at how GOOD it smells (tastes pretty darned good, too!)
What are you sipping today???
Re: What are you sipping today???
Great idea!
Just left a co-workers house playing pool. He had Remy VSOP for me, can't complain too much. It's 6 degrees outside...burrrrrr

Re: What are you sipping today???
Nice! I went with a very small pour of Tesseron 53 because it had been too long
Re: What are you sipping today???
Tonight I'm having a nice pour of the Jean Grosperrin 1980 Grande Champagne....long long finish...
Re: What are you sipping today???
This weekend, it's been back and forth between Leopold Gourmel 10 carats and Castarede 20YO. Sunday evening is being spent with Daniel Bouju BdF. This bottle will not survive the winter.
Re: What are you sipping today???
Those are excellent choices. Especially on the BdF
Tonight, I went with a few samples of whisky - a Karuizawa and Glendronach. The first was good, the second magical.

Re: What are you sipping today???
I've only got about 3 or 4 more pours from the AE DOR XO Extra (Opera) and the bottle will be gone. Strange as this may sound to some, I actually enjoy Cognac while sipping on green tea. I don't mix them, just sip on one, then go for the other.
Re: What are you sipping today???
I did a lot of training this weekend so not much sipping going on. Being that it's cold outside, I had to break out the Calvados (I put the review in the brandy forum). It doesn't go well with a cigar, so there was no tobacco to compliment.
Re: What are you sipping today???
After reading the K&L Spirits Journal today, I was in the mood for rum, so I went with the trifecta of Gosling's Old, the 151, and then the El Dorado 21. I keep forgetting how much I do enjoy a good, dark rum.

Re: What are you sipping today???
Back to some Bouju TVBdF; it's been too long.
