Fathers 70th birthday

Hi all.

My fathers 70th birthday is coming up and we have had the idea of getting him a nice bottle of brandy as its one of his favoured drinks.
Sadly he is the only one who knows much about these things so I am looking for a recommendation. I'm aware that this will differ from person to person but any help would be appreciated.
We have a budget of somewhere around £600-£750.
I am based in the UK so any links to good places to buy from would also be much appreciated.
