Nose: There's probably not too much to say here. Sweet sugar water, vanilla, pressed fried flowers. Very vague orange the same basic elements of the XO, but it's like the weak recall of the XO. If you blink, you just might miss it. Let's move on.
Palate: Weak on entry, though the midpalate turns out for a bit of an improvement. Orange, off-orange zest, burned marmalade pie (and crust). Some more pressed flower, wood, and an off-sweetness. Move to the finale.
Finish: Spice, cinnamon, orange, and some other fruit and flowers. Frankly, I just don't care. It's not terrible, but it's terribly weak and suffers from the same basic flaws of the big houses in their standard ranges: weak, indistinct, without a real profile, and like sweetened water with fruit extract.
