from a purchased sample

Nose: A little light a faint with the usual youthful cognac elements, and spirity nervousness. Flowers, estery, some fruit. Seems rather candied and almost a caramel quality. Pears, peaches, grapes, bananas, vanilla, and a spot of alcohol. Let's see what happens on the palate.

Palate: Light, simple, and integrated wood. Thickened vaguely-sweet water with some fruity overtones. Honey, peach jam, daffodills and peonies. Orange, cinnamon, a hint of ginger, light oak, which provides some structure, but let's not kid ourselves, this is weak sauce.

Finish: I'm sure that you can imagine how this goes. Pleasant enough, and a sort of an echo of a shadow, but nothing bold or distinct. Provides a nice and sweetly simple entry, but it's time to move on. C
