Daniel Bouju Reserve Familiale

Postby reallydog » Sun Jan 25, 2015 8:51 am

Is this cognac the best for the 750-1000 dollar range? Im a whisky drinker and am searching for a special cognac. Input is appreciated.

The best depends on your taste which probably evolves as you drink more. The price over $300-400 doesn't necessarily translate into taste- we are paying for the rarity of the item, age, bottle or crystal, reputation of house, actual taste, and random pricing.

Around $750-1000, this would include tesseron 29, Maison surrene 1946, bouju rf, ferrand ancestrale, among others. My favorite in this range is the Paul-Marie devante la Porte.

Where do you live and what do you have access to?

Where did you order the bouju from and which ones did you get?

I picked up some when they stopped selling in the U.S. for awhile.
