Hello all,

I'm a Hennessy collector as you know, but I also drink it of course :)

So a few times a year I organise a tasting event at my place, a great way to enjoy and experience some nice congac's and have a good talk about the flavor & what we think is one of the better in the range or our favourite (which can change from now and then, as sometimes you need to drink one a few times before you really start to appreciate it or an oppinion has changed.....)
but overall all Hennessy's are nice and each one is unique.
If I have to choose a few favourite ones I must say, Napoleon ~ Private Reserve "both ;)" ~ Privé

On the table I have a choice of 20+ different bottles of pure Henny pleasure
My friends can choose whatever they want to drink that evening.

enjoy the pictures, I will add some more as I can only post 3 pics at a time + will add some tasting notes when I have time later on.

Well that's very nice of you, some of the bottles pictured are really hard to find now, I guess your friends certainly did enjoy the experience!

From time to time I also organize tasting sessions for friends. Last time was 2 weeks ago and we sacrificed one of the 6 Hennessy *** from the early 20th century as explained here.

Do you dedicate yourself 100% to Hennessy or are there other brands you appreciate?

François

Indeed it's a real pleasure to organise an evening like that & all my friends like it a lot.
Well @ home it's 100% Hennessy ;)
Now and then when I have the occasion I do like to try something else, but I stick with Hennessy as for some reason I just prefere that taste & arome more then the others I tried... Like Frapin, Maison Charbonneau, Hine, Remy , Martell, Bisquit, Camus and a lot of others. Mostly I try the VSOP, Napoleon or XO from these brands.

What really was a surprise is that Maison Charbonneau has some amazing good Pinaud des Charantes!

I read your article which was real nice to read, I'm trying to buy a second *** now to open & drink also :)

Thnx & Grtz
