Martell Silver Jubilee Special Reserve

Postby wouter » Sat May 29, 2010 10:03 am

Information about the Martell Silver Jubilee Special Reserve:

This J and F Martell Special Reserve Cognac was bottled to commemorate the Queens Silver Jubilee in 1977.

It was a limited edition of less than a 1000 bottles and this exceptional Cognac is a blend of the 1815-1906-1914-1918 vintages, taken from the finest growths and chosen for their bouquet and palate which are unsurpassable.

Chairman Michel F. Martell said at the time that these eaux-de-vie used were 'from the finest growths and were chosen for their bouquet and palate, which are unsurpassable'.

The bottle is wax sealed and comes in a wooden box. 73.5 degrees proof.

What a wonderful presentation box. I've not enjoyed the Martell's that I've tasted in the past but that could always change :)
