Re: What are you sipping today???

I believe you're not exactly in the right section, this thread is dedicated to what we're sipping at the moment, I think you want to post in the section devoted to selling and acquiring.

Re: Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon

Just found myself a bottle of 12 years old van Winkle Lot B for 47 euros in a small italian town, guess that was my lucky day... After having a taste of the rye which was not bad but left me unimpressed, I'll now have a chance to taste the famous bourbon everyone keeps chasing ! Granted, it's not th...

Re: Daniel Bouju Réserve Familiale

All about the cask strength and aged spirits. Any recommendations? Specific brands/vintages? I order from overseas if necessary. Well, in that case your options with cognac are much more limited. The Bouju stuff is very oaky and sometimes somewhat bitter depending on your taste, it's a very particu...

Finally put my hands on a Chateau du Mirail armagnac set, this is Haut Armagnac area :D I was really curious about Haut Armagnac, began to sip on the XO sample and it is quite nice, some bourbon-like feature, I think it is time I resume to post a few tasting comments on the forum !

Welcome here ! Not really a collector myself but you'll find several on the forum. All of your bottles are out of my range, if you happen to open some of them, feel free to share your experience, I am quite curious !

Re: Bourbon Collection

Really have to agree on that one, the Knob Creek Reserve is very nice, however it's often a bit pricey in Europe, if you can get it at 45$ it's really a bargain ! Lots of banana there I love that !
