It just came in on the 14th of this month. It is supposedly meant to be on the grounds of safety, but in reality is to stop all the whisky hitting America duty free though parcel force from the UK. As already stated rest of EU is fine for the moment .

It is illegal to send alcohol above 20% by Parcel Force between USA and the UK. Freight prices would make this a very expensive bottle, not sure what duty would be.

I would try and find a shop within the EU.

I have seen then sell in shops for £40, if you are really lucky you might get that. But at the same time it might struggle to make £10 in auction. Whats the fill level of the bottle?

This is from a whisky cask buying point of view so things may be different. If you are buying with friends things can get messy about when to bottle at what strength etc, set out what you want beforehand and put in writing. Thanks for all the replys. Like the photos Deemancpa very nice selection.
